Ruka Nakagawa

The Japanese Ruka Nakagawa studied at the Royal Ballet School Antwerp. As of the 2016-2017 season, she has been dancing as a student of B7 in various productions of Opera Ballet Vlaanderen. These productions include The Nutcracker by Demis Volpi, Spartacus by Yuri Grigorovich, Requiem by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Secus by Ohad Naharin and Chronicle by Martha Graham. Nakagawa has been a member of the OBV company since the 2017-2018 season. She has appeared here in the title role of Giselle (Akram Khan), Noetic by Cherkaoui, the world premiering creation Palmos by Andonis Foniadakis, Tempus Fugit by Johan Inger and RASA [after La Bayadère] by Daniel Proietto.
