Rune Verbilt

Dancer

The Belgian dancer Rune Verbilt graduated from the Royal Ballet School of Antwerp in 2021, where he not only studied classical ballet, but was also able to develop in dance styles such as contemporary and neo-classical. In addition to this training, Verbilt also followed the Russian Masters Ballet summer course organised by the Vaganova Ballet Academy. Verbilt has danced at several galas such as the Gala Valencia Endanza and the Gala of The Vaganova Course in Alicante. He has been part of the Opera Ballet Vlaanderen company since the 2021-2022 season, dancing in Le Sacre du printemps by Pina Bausch and Giselle by Akram Khan in 2022. In the same year he also appeared at the Festival d'Avignon in Jan Martens' Futur proche. In 2023, he starred in William Forsythe's One Flat Thing, reproduced and Richard Siegal's creation New Ballet mécanique, among others.
