Towa Iwase
Dancer
Japanese dancer Towa Iwase studied ballet in her home country at the Sasaki Mika Ballet Academy and then at the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in the United Kingdom. She participated in different summer intensives like Summer GagaLab 2022 in Berlin, A Taste Of NDT SI and Hofesh Shechter Company open class. From 2021 she danced at IT Dansa in Barcelona where she performed works by Ohad Naharin, Lorena Nogal (La Veronal) Akram Khan, Alexander Ekman and Cayetano Soto Ramirez and Gustavo Ramírez Sansano, among others. Towa Iwase has been a dancer in the company of Opera Ballet Vlaanderen since 2023.
