Dancers Ballet Vlaanderen
In this fourteenth edition of the successful Choreolab series, the dancers of Opera Ballet Vlaanderen are challenged to develop and present their own choreographies to a large audience. The creations are performed by fellow dancers and for the technical support the choreographers can count on the skilled costume and set workshops of Opera Ballet Vlaanderen.
In the context of the 50th anniversary of Ballet Vlaanderen, the dancers are inspired by choreographies, music and costumes from the rich past of the company. With these elements in mind, they look for their own voice, dance style, forms of expression and movement idioms.
Every year, Choreolab guarantees a refreshing programme in which the dancers surprise the audience with their quirky and brand new creations.
