On the occasion of Philippe Grandrieux's Tristan und Isolde, three of his films will be screened in Flemish cinemas.
At Studio Skoop (Ghent) and Cinema Cartoon's (Antwerp), White Epilepsy is on the programme. This 2012 film is set in a forest, where a man and a woman perform a stark choreography. It is an ancient ritual, a ceremonial struggle at the focal point between domination and submission.
