Recital Tineke Van Ingelgem - Je chante la nuit

Soprano Tineke Van Ingelgem transports the listener to the sultry and smoky world of cabaret. Expect catchy classics about life, death, but especially about love. A few gems by Kurt Weill, the grand master of the genre, will be heard. The Cabaret Songs, one of the many fruits of the collaboration between musical all-rounder Benjamin Britten and visionary poet W.H. Auden, are also on the menu. Van Ingelgem is certainly not making her debut with Opera Ballet Vlaanderen. In 2019, she performed the title role in Antonín Dvořák's fabulous opera Rusalka with verve and was previously Jenny in Kurt Weill's Aufstieg und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny.
