Focus on Susanne Kennedy, Markus Selg & Parsifal
On Saturday, October 11, the day of the Antwerp premiere, we will shine a spotlight on the unique theatrical oeuvre of the duo Susanne Kennedy and Markus Selg, the creators of the new Parsifal.
We will engage in a conversation with Susanne Kennedy and take a closer look at the directing concept. The program includes a portrait of Kennedy & Selg by Prof. Dr. Inge Arteel (VUB) & Prof. Dr. Cornelis van der Haven (UGent); an interview with Kennedy by Kristof van Baarle (KASK); and a short presentation of the new Operatheek booklet on Parsifal by author Piet De Volder, who is also working as music dramaturg on the new production.
