The convert, how to make an opera? From beginning to end

On 10 May 2022, Opera Ballet Vlaanderen performed the world premiere of The convert (De bekeerlinge). Now that the performances have also been completed in Ghent, we can safely say that it was the most successful contemporary opera production in the history of Opera Ballet Vlaanderen. Reporter Wannes Peremans witnessed the final part of the creation process at the side of Wim Henderickx.
