That's what Friends are for...
You become a supporter of our house and share your passion for opera and/or ballet with others. Moreover, as a Friend you enjoy a range of privileges. But above all, your contribution is an extra support to our organisation.
- at least 1 day's priority for subscription renewal or ticket sales, both online and in the box office
- preview of the new season by the management of Opera Vlaanderen and Ballet Vlaanderen
- free swapping of tickets for another performance of the same production (up to one week before the performance)
- possibility of participating in day trips or opera tours (against payment)
- invitation to activities organised especially for the Friends, which give you a privileged insight into the workings of our house and bring you closer to our artists
- news flashes by e-mail
- discount on certain activities or performances of Opera Vlaanderen and Ballet Vlaanderen (afternoon concerts, PLUS activities, etc.)
- attendance to 3 (pre-)dress rehearsals (if you are already a subscriber or have bought tickets for at least 3 performances)
- name indication in the programme booklets and the season brochure, if desired
- you may bring one extra person to every activity who is not yet a Friend
- possibility of participating in activities of an exclusive nature: meetings with artists, unique backstage events, etc.
- separate Friend's Vestiaire (only at Opera Gent)
Membership fee
€300 / 30 or younger? €150
- valid for 365 days from date of purchase
- if you can show that you made a (tax deductible) gift to Opera Ballet Vlaanderen, you can enjoy a discount on your Friends membership fee. For more information, please contact your Friends coordinator.
