Joëlle Auspert

Joëlle Auspert, born and raised in Belgium, started dancing at the age of nine. She attended the Royal Ballet School Antwerp and after graduating in 1994, she joined the Royal Ballet of Flanders as a member of the corps the ballet. Soon she got promoted to half soloist and currently she is a soloist. Over the years, Joëlle has performed in copious amounts of productions, including Forgotten Land and Psalms by Jiří Kylián, In The Middle, Somewhat Elevated, Artifact, Impressing the Tzar and New Sleep by William Forsythe, and Divertimento No.15 and Theme And Variations by George Balanchine. Alongside dancing, Joëlle is also passionate about pilates and teaching ballet, as well as being a self-proclaimed sports addict. After her final goodbye as a dancer with Ballet Flanders in 2018, she now uses her many talents in a new role as ballet master.
