Together with a guide, you’ll explore the front and backstage areas of our house and discover how many different elements come together in such a total work of art. Naturally, you’ll also get a glimpse of our impressive halls and learn more about the stories we bring to life on our stages.

WEEKEND TOURS IN ANTWERP AND GHENT
Buy a ticket for our weekend tour and learn more about our organization, the performance currently on stage, and how creations at OBV come to life. Before the renovation works begin, we want to give everyone the chance to take one last look behind the scenes at Opera Ghent. We are organizing extra weekend tours, where you'll also discover more about the future plans for the Ghent opera house.
TECHNICAL BACKSTAGE TOUR
Before we close the doors of Opera Ghent, we warmly invite you to take one last dive behind the scenes. After the performance, one of our technical managers will take you on stage and tell you more about the production you just attended.
TOURS FOR GROUPS
Come explore the opera in Ghent or Antwerp, or the ballet at ’t Eilandje in Antwerp with your organization, family, or friends. A guide will take you on a journey through a house where creative processes and collaboration take center stage.
PRICE: €200 per group of 20 people (for groups larger than 20, an additional €10 per person applies, with a maximum of 25 people in total)

TOURS FOR SCHOOLS
A great deal goes into the performances that OBV brings to the stage. During a tour, students work together with the guide to build their own journey of discovery. Along the way, they explore themes such as collaboration, the present moment, and the many puzzle pieces that make up a creation. Who knows—in which role might they recognize themselves?
