Getting there - Performances in Ghent
Opera Gent will be closed for renovation over the coming years. However, Opera Ballet Vlaanderen will continue to perform in the city, staging opera and dance performances in other venues in the city centre.

Train
Thanks to the Bravo! Ticket from NMBS, you can travel to opera or dance at a reduced price.
On your ticket, you will find a discount code that allows you to book a discounted train ticket via the NMBS website.
In addition, NMBS provides extra late trains on several evenings from Bruges, Ghent, and Antwerp, so you can travel home comfortably after the performance.
Parking
The City of Ghent is providing additional parking spaces on the outskirts of the city.

Car sharing
Carpooling via Slinger (from September 2026)
Travel easily to our performances together with other visitors thanks to the Slinger carpool tool.
