Casting call for young dance lovers
Opera Ballet Vlaanderen is looking for a diverse group of children and young people aged 7 to 15 for a new dance project in collaboration with choreographer Zoë Demoustier.
Dance experience is not required, but it is important that you can attend all performances and rehearsals.
The casting will take place in two rounds:
ROUND 1: Sat 14 & Sun 15 Mar — Theater 't Eilandje, Antwerp
Saturday: short, intuitive sessions per age group
Sunday: in-depth work, mixed ages
ROUND 2: Tue 7 to Fri 10 Apr — Opera Antwerp or Theater 't Eilandje
In-depth workshop week with 10 to 15 participants. After this week, a final selection will be made of 3 participants.
