Extras

Always wanted to stand on a stage? Fancy being part of the machinery behind an opera? Would you like to get to know Flanders' biggest cultural institution from a different angle? Time to sign up as an extra! Throughout the cultural season we are looking for extras for various productions. They make an important contribution to the staging and are an indispensable link in the production process. People with a background in dance or theatre (both amateur and professional) are also welcome. As an extra you are available during rehearsals (dates vary per opera title) and performance dates. Of course, we will inquire after your personal availability when you apply. A fee is provided.
